Using Music for Instruction and Therapy
Whether you work in Early Childhood Development, K-12 Education, Therapy and Rehabilitation or Geriatrics, Beamz is a must-have device to incorporate into your technology tool kit. Beamz is an interactive music system that uses lasers and adaptive devices to trigger music, sound-effects, videos and more. Beamz uses music to differentiate instruction, address cognition, and develop innovative therapy protocols. If you’ve seen Beamz before, we have new accessories we’ll be rolling out during the session—lesson plans, therapy protocols, and adaptive devices. We’ll do a short demonstration and then you will break into small groups where you’ll complete one of our activities and make your own. There will be time at the end for groups to report out so that everyone can benefit from each group’s creativity!
