You don't need a ton of apps, just the right ones! This session will cover quality, free & low cost, educational apps and web tools for the 3rd-5th grade classroom. Attendees will explore multiple apps and web tools, and leave the session with a list of recommended apps & online tools for each 3-5 math & ELAR TEKS standard.

Finding Technology integration and tools for elementary math can be challenging! Join LC Elementary Campus Techs as we share ideas and tools that we have used successfully in our 4th grade math classrooms. Topics will span from apps/sites for basic skills practice to cool and engaging sites for financial literacy and targeting specific skills! As this will be a rapid-fire presentation, we will include a link to our Tech Champ Symbaloo with all the links from our presentation!

Screencasting is an easy way to add videos to your instruction. If you want to flip your class, screencasting is a perfect solution. Whether you record simple tutorials or have students create video projects, screencasting is a great project for all subject areas. Teachers who will have access to Chromebooks or Nexus tablets are encouraged to attend.

We hope to share the new 2015-2016 Bluebonnet Book List and offer ideas for lessons and activities. We will incorporate technology and basic research documentation skills, as well as promote a love of reading and literature. This presentation will be perfect for both elementary and middle school librarians and ELA/Reading teachers, as well as social studies/history teachers.
