Make Learning "Come to Life" using Augmented Reality: Creating Auras that Glow
Come to this session and watch how learning can “come to life” for your students. Use Augmented Reality to facilitate imagination, reading, and writing skills in the elementary, middle, or high school classroom. Aurasma is a great app that can be used to design lessons that foster critical thinking and creative skills. For example, students can learn to summarize/predict/infer/share and write stories across different genres using features of augmented reality. Turn Augmented Reality into a unique lesson that encourages cooperative learning in small groups. Projects can be posted on a classroom website, Edmodo. book museum or shared in the Aurasma public or private channel. Participants need to install the Aurasma app prior to attending this session.
